Around the 21st March Christina will be receiving a re-supply drop, parachuted onto the ice from a plane. In this re-supply we will be sending Christina a small book of messages of support from friends and fans.

If you would like to send Christina a note please do so by making a comment at the bottom of this page where it says ‘Write your comment here…’

All messages received by Tuesday 16th March 12 Noon GMT will be sent to Christina. Please only send one message per person.

You can do this, Christina. You have the strength, the spirit, and the heart to make it all the way to pole. Know that there are so many of us who are following you every day, and who are with you in your hardest moments, sending love and cheering you on.

Davy Newell says:

Hey Mamma x.

Sending you all my love, support and a naughty thought every day.

Keep strong and safe and enjoy every step, even the hard ones. It’s the hard ones that make it worthwhile, and keep you in stories for years.

Love and Luck,

Davy Xx.

Keep Going ;-)

Good luck Christina, I just found you on Facebook and then your website and am following your progress. That must be the adventure of a lifetime. I love all the pictures you posted. Stay warm and may God Bless you.

Guy Pearce says:

You’re an absolute powerhouse of inspiration to me, no doubt to women from all over the world and of course to a whole host of men too!

Most people I speak to about this ask why you’re doing this. If people have to ask “why”, they’ll never understand will they! Again, good for you! Go for it!

To calm winds, sunshine, no bears, and lots of smooth going ahead!

cheers
G

MARTA says:

go girl. big hugs.

I can have a very large glass of wine waiting when you get back (or a bottle). Do you know any good songs you can sing to yourself, very loudly, you don’t have to worry about anyone hearing and it will probably scare the wildlife away lol – all the best Mark

Arkie Hudkins says:

France Rivet says:

Hello Christina. Just a little note to let you know that there are positive thoughts also being sent your way from Quebec. I’m doing my best to translate part of your daily reports to French and to share them with friends, family and other polar enthousiasts on this side of the Atlantic ocean. Here are the translations of a couple of comments I have received so far : “We must have a thought for Christina today. She is showing us her courage, determination, pride and passion” (received on March 8th, Women’s day). “Bravo to Christina for making her dreams happen!”. Keep up the great work and thank you so much for allowing us all to feel part of your expedition! Bonne chance!!

Roberta Bass says:

Going on an errand to Bridgeport tomorrow and will have a slice of pizza in your honor from behind the bullet-proof window. That’s my contribution to the world of brave deeds. You have to fill in all the rest. That, my dear, you are pulling off with unfathomable courage and spirit. I follow each of your days avidly and with abounding love.

You’re the one, Christina. Of the four, or is it five, women who have tried to do this, you’re the one. You will never know how many lives you have touched in a positive way. Continued good luck!

John Thornton says:

You never fail to amaze me – great bulletins and brilliant to hear you so upbeat! Purgatory when away from the web and not knowing what was happening. Hope by the time you get this, your daily plod has reached the numbers necessary to triumph. As I said in today’s comment: If only you had the 12th March in Fiji and another one in Oahu that I just had – an extra day for the trip! Lot’s of sunshine too, but I will pass on wearing fish-net tights and purple high heels! Everything crossed for good fortune – Keep on trekking! J.xx

John Winsell Davies says:

Dear Christina, remember what you told us on the Volga. The world of strength is inside you. In your stomach, within your frame and in your lungs. You are powerful and brave. We are sending our energy to you on the gruelling, lonely, one-directional advance across the top of the world; but you are not afraid. Pray to God as you step, step, step closer to destiny. I so much look forward to your daily reports and salute your incredible positive attitude when surrounded by frustrations and difficulties. You are an absolute inspiration to anybody who has the dreams and visions of an adventure, whatever and wherever that might be, and especially to all women out there who need some motivation to achieve their goals.

I wish for you the following thoughts when things get tough:

Love over Hatred

I also wish you …

Hi Christina,

It’s really nice to follow your expedition to the Pole! Reminds me of my trips in the artctic. Good luck & keep going!!! :-)

Best regards, Boris

Keep on going – you’re doing marvellously. How can you sound so calm? I hope you manage not to fall over so much from now on – you must be black and blue. Sing a song for me out there, would you. Anything will do!
In admiration,

Wendy Rubin says:

Hey Chris-
You are a goddess among polar bears. I am inspired by you to strap on running shoes to plod my way into the club. I am leaving 1/2 my money at home, so I can make two trips in hommage to your double sleds. I will be avoiding the rubble of nyc: the dog poo, the flying plastic bags, various vermin and the unidentified. I listen to you every day. My heart is with you and I’m so lucky that we reconnected just in time for me to piggyback on your tremendous and awesome adventure. I send you thoughts of a warm bubble bath awaiting you at the finish. You are amazing and you are going to make it! With Love, Wendy

Ciao Christina,

I am with you

Ryan Paquette says:

Hello Christina,

I am posted here in Resolute Bay until May, working as a technologist for Nav Canada. I think my little sister, also named Christina, would be very impressed with your determination and strength. I know that I am. After walking a few miles around here submitting to the arctic wind at 40 below, all while keeping an eye out for Nanuk, I can just appreciate the challenges you face as you trek to the pole. I wish you all the best. May your challenge and skill meet where passion flows to carry you on.

Cheers,

Ryan :)

Steve Wright says:

Hi Christina,

I am avidly following your progress and you are doing absolutely superbly. I open your blog each day with a big “C’mon Christina” which I hope helps!! Sadly I will be not able to follow you for a couple of weeks as I am away to Baffin with Simon. However, keep plugging on and I expect to see a couple more degrees tucked away when I am next able to check in!

I remember opening the messages on Polar Race and I can imagine what an emotional time it will be for you.

Take care,

Love Steve
