Well done Christina, am sure your progress will be much better now with only one sled. Was thinking of you yesterday as I tramped over the Cotswolds, and as we wait for the further snow showers forecast for later this week – you’re in our thoughts daily. Much love, Cathy
wise move, always best not to moon polar bears. it only annoys them xx
Congratulations you will be there in no time!
Those bears will never catch you up be wise like a jackal!

Hey Mamma so gutted that i missed your call, but glad you got the tent down in the wind and got dug out of the drift. You’re in my thoughts all the time and it’s good to hear the strength in your voice today.
Fast and light Mamma, all the way to the top now.

Still listening with amazement each day. Keep up the work- you will make it soon.
Lots of love
I am so glad you are safe! Waiting for a lead to freeze while a nanuq sniffs around for lunch probably isn’t the best way to spend time. Congratulations on making it to within 600 km of the pole. Not to mention a month on the ice, that is a fantastic achievement! We at Solara had been watching your progress, as well as the people monitoring for alerts at Armstrong’s, of course. Hopefully now you can rest up a bit and enjoy a few hot cups of tea under a solid roof!
Go on
