Day 21: Wish Me Luck

Day 21: Two Audio Blogs from Christina today.

Christina is initially disheartened by the white out which greets her in the morning, and prevents her from progressing;

The skies eventually clear, but too late for Christina to make any progress today. The day is not wasted though, Christina formulates a new plan;

Christina passes on the message to wish Donna Landa a Happy Birthday for Wednesday.

Cathy Dean says:

Christina, at the Trustees’ meeting yesterday we were talking about your amazing courage and strength, and wishing you all the best. Am very much hoping that your lighter sledge doesn’t involve leaving behind anything too important, and that you have a speedier and happier day today. Much love, Cathy and the rhinos

Christina, even initially disheartened by the white out which greets in the morning and even if you are a little bit more than on Thursday. We are hoping you will progress and I think is really good that you are founding a hope over that sad, cold, and lonely North Pole.
Even if I know that is really hard being alone, you have to see the good part for example, at least there is peace in the North Pole.
Sincerely,
Lucia

AT:

I am wonder-struck by this woman because I cannot fathom anyone undergoing this kind of personal challenge, perhaps in part because I shrink at the thought of winter weather with temperatures below 20 degrees.
She must be made of steel and have a superior mind that can stay focused on survival issues with every nerve and cell in her body. I could never do it. I hope she makes it.

Best regards,
Nina

Chiara, Marymount 4Z says:

Christina, I hope everything will go well in the next days. Remember, we all believe in you! I know you will not give up and continue this magnificent adventure.

Can I ask you a question?
Did you already meet any polar bears?

Your friend,
Chiara

Christina, I’ve heard there’s an on-line couch awaiting in an igloo at the North Pole so keep on ’surfing’ that sled towards it.

My thoughts are with you from sunny SE Asia… you can do it.
