Christina updates us, in two parts, about the trials of waking up on an island, crossing water and getting an unexpected drenching. Today is resupply day for Christina (a barrel of supplies is parachuted from a passing plane), so she will take a day off walking, pack and plan for the next stage of the expedition, and prepare for pushing forward.

That’s a rotten break but you are doing the right thing to dry out and re-group to carry on. We are with you in spirit. Hang in there, things will get better.
So tough … What to say but to express my hope and admiration, while more, wishing for better fortune. Be strong and enjoy (as much as you can) that day off! With much love from the warm, damp, fern-blown alps where avalanches come down a-plenty and locals wonder how it can have gone from -10° C to +10° C in the space of 2 days! The weather…
Oh pal, I am really feeling for you here. What a nightmare! Don’t worry, things change so fast out there. Every day is a new day! You can do it. Big love, Hannah xxxx
Christina…You’re really, really fantastic. It should be hard for you to be with the water at your feet. How about the swim?Did you like it ? Have a nice day
So sorry for the frustration, but am very glad you are safe and drying out. I can only imagine that getting a good drenching would not only be shocking, but instill a good bit of fear– certainly, I’d feel that way. Like you said, it’s a good thing that it happened this day, just before the re-supply. You’ll be able to regroup and trooper on.
Good Morning Christina. I hope you enjoy your day off and are able to ‘recharge’. I understand that today is the day that Dave (owner of Summit Air and the Pilot for your drop today) brings your ‘dry’ supplies and we all truely wish this will help you to begin the next leg of your journey with lifted spirits. You are an incredibly strong and courageous woman Christina. I have no doubt that you will reach your goal.
Christina, I see you are really trying hard to reach your goal. I admire you and I hope you succeed. I’m a Marymount Rome student and my mother attended MMI like you (class 1984). Good luck.
your friend ALE
P.S. you are a very strong woman
christina you are doing a very good job

well done, i’m so happy for you because you are enjoying your new supplies. In Marymount school Rome we are all hoping you can do it even if we know is gonna be hard. Even if you don’t do it we are going to be proud of you because at least you tried.
sincerely,
Lucia
Christina. You are in Sedna’s domain now. If you are to succeed (Survive) you will need to make a sacrificial ceromony. Sedna does not like to give breaks to females in the north pole Rose S, Hannah M, Christina 1, French lady in the 90’s…
Its crystal clear..Its time to face Sedna. Start with humbleness then comb the lice from her hair…If this is not done..well you know the outcome…Strength, Clear thinking..
Chistina was the water cold were you scared? YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If that happened to me I would be scared. I am really proud of you!!!!! You are very courageous and brave. I wish you good luck and I hope you will make it to the North Pole. .I hope you have a good rest.
Sincerely,
Nika 4z Marymount Rome student
I want to reach the Pole!
I AM GLAD YOU ARE ENJOYING THE NEW GEAR.
SINCERELY,
CLARA
You said it Mamma, if it was gonna happen any day today was the best day. Know that makes it no better now and that it’s just a kick in the teeth, but just grit them and keep going. I’ve seen you in action in the Namib and know you’ve got what it takes.
Dig deep Mamma,
We’re all with you xx
wow. bad day, Christina, but thankfully TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY and I am sure it will be better!! With love from Dede and Donald in the Big Apple
Hope those winds blow away and this finds you dried out & enjoying your new supplies.
